چکیده

In this manuscript, the results of a case-control study in an Iranian population on the nutritional risk factors associated with gestational hypertension have been reported. This study presented the evaluation of food intake during the previous three months of pregnancy of participants by a validated SFFQ (Semi-quantitative Food Frequency questionnaire). In addition, information about other maternal factors also has been described. The findings could be of interest to the readers of journal of women health care, because they demonstrate an association of some nutritional factors, with an increased risk of gestational hypertension. By identifying these risk factors, the incidence of gestational hypertension could be decreased by appropriate dietary recommendations. *Corresponding author: Ahmad Reza Dorosti-Motlagh, Department of Nutritional Sciences, School of Public Health, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Poursina Avenue, Tehran, 14155-6446, Iran, Tel: +9821-88951395; Fax: +982188974462; E-mail: [email protected] Received April 04, 2012; Published October 27, 2012 Citation: Kazemian E, Dorosti-Motlagh AR, Sotoudeh G, Eshraghian MR, Ansary S (2012) Nutritional Status of Women with Gestational Hypertension Compared to Normal Pregnant Women. 1:481. doi:10.4172/scientificreports.481 Copyright: © 2012 Kazemian E, et al.
